Aschourt Rowan hires Towry's Jones as financial planning chief
by Jun Merrett on Mar 21, 2013 at 14:43
Ashcourt Rowan Financial Planning has appointed Towry director and senior client partner Gaius Jones as its incoming chief executive.
Jones will report to Ashcourt Rowan’s group chief executive Jonathan Polin and take over from Ashcourt Rowan Financial Planning's outgoing chief executive Chris Williams who will leave the company later this year.
Polin said Gaius’s experience would help the company maximise the opportunities available in the post-retail distribution review (RDR)-world.
‘Gaius’s experience at John Scott & Partners, and more latterly at Towry, will be invaluable in maximising the opportunity following RDR and the significant consolidation prospects that will unfold. His experience in developing strong professional introducer links and looking after key high-net-worth clients will be invaluable as we seek to grow our footprint across the UK.’
Jones said: ‘I am excited by the opportunity to help the firm capitalise on the work they have done to craft a robust way of delivering expert advice with a high-quality team of people by growing the business on a national basis.’
