Baillie Gifford’s veteran US manager Brewis to retire

Tabberer will also co-lead the North American investment team with Gary Robinson after Brewis’s departure.
Tabberer has worked alongside Brewis since he joined from Scottish Widows Investment Partnership in 2008.
Robinson has been at the firm for 10 years, working in the North American team since 2008.
Brewis joined Baillie Gifford in 1985 after graduating in economics from Cambridge.
He is one of the top-performing US fund managers over the last few years in the North America sector, returning 42.3% over the three years to 5 June compared to a sector average or 39%..
