Barclays has made two senior hires in its wealth and investment management office based in Manchester, with the appointment of Elizabeth Bird and Samantha Beach.
Bird joins the firm from UBS Wealth, where she spent six years as a director managing private clients in the North West and London.
Formerly at Coutts , Beach is joining the firm as a private banker and specialises in wealth management services for entrepreneurs and business owners.
In her last role, she was responsible for the development of a regional sport and media project working with premiership football clubs.
The Barclays Manchester office now has a team approaching 20 private bankers providing a range of wealth management and corporate wealth advisory services to clients across the region.
