Barclays Wealth has recruited senior private bankers from Coutts and UBS as part of its UK expansion plans.
Jennifer Flood joins after a four year stint as a client adviser with UBS, while Bob Pennells joins the firm after a 15-year spell at Coutts where he had a specific focus on UK clients.
Barclays Wealth has also hired Alex Dean from Milestone International Tax Consultants as vice president.
The three will based in London and report to the frim's managing director, UK & Ireland Private Bank John Saunders.
Barclays Wealth has invested extensively within its private bank in recent months in a bid to meet ambitious growth targets.
Last month Citywire revealed its parent, Barclays Bank, had injected £350 million into the business to help it quadruple the size of its business and double its number of private bankers.
Commenting on the latest round of hires Saunders said. 'Since I joined Barclays Wealth 12 months ago we have been hiring aggressively. This is indicative of our commitment to become the premier private bank.'
