Signia Wealth has hired Mark Elliott (pictured) from Barclays Wealth as managing director.
Elliott has nearly 20 years' experience private client management, banking, credit, financial planning and wealth structuring.
In his new role he will look after ultra high net worth (UHNW) client relationships for the multi-family office. He will also support the firm's chief executive, Nathalie Dauriac-Stoebe, in the future development of the business.
In his previous role at Barclays Wealth Elliott established the firm's financial institutions group and professional practices business in 2007, which focused on high net worth clients in investment banking, private equity and hedge funds across the globe.
Prior to this he worked as group head for the executives team and as group head for the Coutts Inpats team.
The hire marks Signia's 19th during Dauriac-Stoebe’s tenure as chief executive.
On the latest hire she said: 'Mark’s hire continues the exceptional start to our business and demonstrates the calibre of personnel we are attracting.
'Mark brings a wealth of experience in looking after UHNW clients from a variety of backgrounds and I’m pleased he shares our vision of shaping the future of the industry.'
