Bedrock launches family office

by Dylan Lobo on May 16, 2011 at 10:02

Private client manager Bedrock has launched a family office.

Bedrock, which has offices in Switzerland and the UK, was established in 2004 by Maurice Ephrati, David Joory, Alexandre Koifman and Ariel Arazi to provide both discretionary management and advisory solutions to its clients.

Bedrock said the decision to launch the family office is in response to growing demand from high net worth (HNW) families who find it increasingly cost efficient to outsource the management of their non-investment related personal affairs.

An executive committee comprised of existing Bedrock senior professionals has been set up to oversee the Bedrock Family Office. This comprises Koifman and Ephrati alongside its chief financial officer, Jerome Zanus-Fortes and chief operating officer, Keyvan Khosrovshahi, who will be in charge of the day-to-day running of the business.

Ephrati said, “The set up of a family office activity is a natural progression to our existing offering. Our extensive experience and exposure to the needs of HNW families gives Bedrock an intimate understanding and proven track record of managing clients' complex private investment and administration concerns.

This next phase in our considered strategy for growth will help us cement our position as 'trusted advisors of choice' for HNW families around the globe."
