Investment management revenues at Brewin Dolphin surged 27.5% over the 13-week stretch to 27 June.
Brewin Dolphin outstripped the rise in the Apcims index by 5.5%, while real growth in discretionary funds climbed 1.8%.
The company's income during the quarter grew by around 19%, shifting up from £51.4 million in June 2009 to around £61.5 million12 months later.
Elsewhere in the business, income from corporate advisory and broking fell compared to last year’s levels. Income from Brewin's brokerage service slipped 13.1%, but on a nine-month view the group said it had risen 35%.
