Brewin Dolphin will consolidate three teams as part of the relocation of its Scottish headquarters to Atria Edinburgh, as it looks to broaden its reach north of the border.
Atria (pictured) is Edinburgh's landmark Grade A office development located next to the city's International Conference Centre. The new development, in the heart of the Scottish capital's business district, is currently under construction. Brewins is scheduled to complete its move to the site in June 2013.
As part of the process Brewins is consolidating its three offices in Edinburgh: the investment management teams in Drumsheugh Gardens; Stocktrade the execution-only broking operation in George Street and its business support and risk and regulation departments in Princes Street.
Brewins will be taking close to 48,000 sq ft of office space at Atria One, occupying the entire fifth floor and part of the sixth floor, accounting for 25% of the building.
Brewin's Edinburgh head Marc Wilkinson, a former Wealth Manager cover star, said: 'We are delighted to be moving into Atria One where we will be positioned in the heart of Edinburgh’s business district, with excellent facilities for our clients.
'This consolidation will give us further room for expansion in the future and it will be very positive to bring all Brewin Dolphin staff in Edinburgh under one roof. We are excited about the move and are already working with the design team and contractor on our fit out.'
