by Danielle Levy on May 06, 2010 at 10:09
Brooks Macdonald Asset Management has bolstered its investment management team with the hire of Colin Barrett, previously of Heartwood Wealth Management.
Barrett will join Brooks Macdonald's eight-strong Tunbridge Wells office and will manage private client portfolios as well as sitting on the research team. Brooks opened the Tunbridge Wells a year ago.
CEO Chris Macdonald (above) said: ‘Colin is a significant hire for Brooks Macdonald. He will be an important addition to the growing fund management team in Tunbridge Wells, bringing with him both a wealth of experience and strong knowledge of the local marketplace.’
This hire brings the number of fund managers at Brooks Macdonald Asset Management to 34 with an additional 10 trainee fund managers currently on the company's graduate scheme.
