Brooks Macdonald to donate trading commission to charity
by Elsa Buchanan on Sep 30, 2013 at 10:06
Brooks Macdonald International’s Guernsey division will donate all the commissions it earns on all trades carried out on 20 November to a charity.
The charities will be selected at random from nominations made by clients, friends and members of the public.
The stockbroking division will try and match last year’s success, when the Stockbroking Day raised more than £7,500 for the Guernsey Alzheimer’s Association.
Matt Watson, head of Guernsey said: ‘Last year’s Stockbroking Day was so well received by everyone involved that we are pleased to announce it is making a return. Many of our staff are actively involved in supporting local organisations and this is a great way to make a difference for a good cause on the island.’
