(Correction) Davey steps down from board of Brooks Macdonald's Dublin Oeic
by Sarah Miloudi on Aug 30, 2013 at 08:28
John Davey has resigned from the board of Brooks Macdonald Investment Funds, one of the group's Dublin Oeics which is being merged into the parent company's asset management business.
Davey is chief executive officer (CEO) of Brooks Macdonald International and is based in the firm's Jersey office and will continue in this role.
Brooks Macdonald Investment Funds, one of the Oeics acquired when the group bought Spearpoint, announced the change to the Irish stock market last night.
Wealth Manager mistakenly reported earlier that Davey was stepping down from the group's board. He does not sit on Brooks Macdonald's board and we later learned his stepping down from the board of the Oeic was planned after the acquisition of Spearpoint. Wealth Manager apologises for any confusion caused.
