The CityUK and IMA will also lead the charge in promoting UK funds and will spearhead a ‘sustained’ overseas marketing campaign, deploying staff globally. It will hold conferences, events dinners and support trade delegations.
The government has also formed an Islamic Finance Task Force which will look to promote all areas of Islamic finance, including asset management and the listing of funds in the UK.
