Burnham takes helm of Ashcourt Rowan AM

Former Brewin Dolphin director Harry Burnham has been appointed chief executive of Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management.
The firm said Burnham will be tasked with steering the business to the next phase of its development in his new role.The move follows the departure of Ashcourt Rowan Asset Management's managing director Esfandi also follows a series of appointments. These include Gaius Jones as chief executive of Ashcourt Rowan Financial Planning, and David Palmer from Generali, who is set to take on the role of deputy CEO of the asset management business as part of the reshuffle.
Jonathan Polin (pictured), Ashcourt Rowan group chief, said: 'Harry is extremely well known in the sector for his knowledge and expertise, not to mention his over-riding passion for the investment process. These characteristics will be invaluable to driving the business forward and I am delighted to have him on board as he helps us realise our ambitious growth targets.'Burnham was formerly at Brewin Dolphin from 2000 where he was responsible for a wide range of portfolios and had managed Brewin Dolphin’s pension fund since its launch in 2004. Prior to Brewins, he was at Williams de Broe.
