Buxton & Cowley team up for Old Mutual multi-asset range
by Eleanor Lawrie on Dec 20, 2013 at 10:00
Buxton (pictured), who was poached by the group from Schroders earlier this year, will co-manage the three funds with Ventre, Cowley and head of alternatives Paul Simpson.
The foundation range is expected to go live in February and will be able to invest in equities, bonds, cash, funds and derivatives, with Ventre responsible for the overall asset allocation.
The three funds will be named Fondation 3, Foundation 4 and Foundation 5, with the number corresponding the target return above inflation over set time periods, and will invest in other Old Mutual Funds.
'This will be a unique product which will aim to capture many of the strengths of OMGI’s full team,' the company said in a statement.
