Cameron tells Scots 'we want you to stay'

Prime minister David Cameron's personal campaign to keep Scotland as part of the UK launches on Friday.

Cameron is set to warn that the country would be 'deeply diminished' if Scotland votes for independence in the September referendum, the Financial Times reports.

In a speech at the Olympic stadium in Stratford, the prime minister is set to tell the Scots 'We want you to stay', as he takes a stronger tack to the independence question.
