Charles Stanley names Scott head of investment management
by Robert St George on Mar 31, 2014 at 09:30
Anthony Scott has been promoted to Charles Stanley’s board as head of investment management.
Scott joined Charles Stanley in 1999 from the Swire Group in Asia, having previously served as an officer in the army.
Before his latest appointment Scott was a director in Charles Stanley’s asset management department with responsibility for charities, private clients and the inheritance tax portfolio service.
‘I am delighted to be welcoming Anthony to the main PLC board of Charles Stanley at such an interesting point in the company’s development,’ said Sir David Howard, Charles Stanley’s chair (pictured).
‘Anthony has been an invaluable resource since his appointment to the operating board in July 2012 helping to steer our investment management processes and developments and he is well equipped for his enhanced role on the board of directors.’
The promotion to the board is still subject to FCA approval.
