Charles Stanley has poached investment managers William Bonner-Davies and Edward Rust from Brewin Dolphin.
Rust has joined Charles Stanley as a senior investment manager, while Bonner-Davies joins as an investment manager.
Both will report to group director Michael Clark as part of the London team. Bonner-Davies had worked at Brewin since 2005, while Rust had been at the company since 2001.
Elsewhere in the country, Brewin has been busy on the hiring front, with two senior hires to its Manchester office.
Ian Booth and Richard Carney both join as divisional directors and were formerly at Coutts & Co.
Booth was a senior investment adviser and has over 34 years’ experience in wealth management and private banking, while Carney was a senior investment consultant.
Bill Thomson, head of the Manchester office, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Ian and Richard to Brewin Dolphin. They bring with them a wealth of knowledge and over 60 years of expertise. The new appointments will help with the commitment we have to grow the business here in Manchester and the Northwest.’
