Charles Stanley to offer model portfolios through Standard Life wrap
by James Phillipps on May 19, 2014 at 10:59
Charles Stanley is to offer its full range of model portfolios through Standard Life’s wrap platform.
The wealth manager's Collective Portfolio Service (CPS) models and Pan Asset range of passively invested portfolios will both be able to advisers. The CPS is managed by a team including former Wealth Manager cover star Stephen Peters (pictured) and Shauna Bevan. Both also featured in Wealth Manager's Top 100 names in fund selection.
‘We are delighted to be one of the first model portfolio providers on Standard Life’s wrap platform and have already experienced significant interest from advisers who already use the platform,’ said Christopher Aldous, managing director of Charles Stanley Pan Asset. ‘It incorporates some exciting technical developments to enhance the experience of both advisers and their underlying clients and the moderate charges, together with our low model portfolio fees, will be easy on the client’s pocket.’
David Tiller, head of adviser platforms at Standard Life, said: 'Opening up the Standard Life wrap platform is a ground-breaking move for us and offers an even better choice of investment solutions for advisers. It is an exciting time for our platform and we welcome Charles Stanley aboard.’
