Chase de Vere restructure puts jobs at risk
by Michelle Abrego on Oct 28, 2013 at 07:09
National IFA Chase de Vere is set to restructure its corporate advice division putting jobs at risk.
There are currently 24 advisers in Chase’s corporate advice division.
A spokesman for Chase de Vere said jobs would be put at risk but that the firm did not envisage widespread redundancies.
He said Chase was looking to restructure its corporate advice, but would not scrap it completely.
He said the ban on consultancy charging on auto-enrolment schemes had been a factor, but not a large one, in the firm’s decision to restructure the division.
‘Even though a number of people will be put at risk we don’t envisage it will ultimately result in widespread redundancies,’ he said.
‘We are not getting rid of our corporate advice proposition, it remains really important to what we’re doing and we’ll continue to put a huge emphasis in, particular into auto-enrolment.’
