City Financial hires Glass as fixed income head

City Financial Investment Company has appointed Graham Glass, formerly UBS's global index credit chief, as its new head of fixed income.
Glass has run the £52 million City Financial Strategic Global Bond fund since it was relaunched in January of last year as part of a fund management arrangement with Argyll Investment Services. He has over 20 years' experience managing fixed income assets for major Assicurazioni Generali, Norges Bank,and UBS where he led the global index credit team, looking after multi-national pension funds and central bank portfolios.
Ed Rosengarten (pictured), head of UK asset management at City Financial (pictured), commented: 'Graham brings his extensive fixed income experience and technical expertise to our team and his appointment is in line with our commitment to attracting the very best investment talent to the business.'
Back in October City Financial acquired Eden Financial's asset management arm and brought over a four-strong team that included Rosengarten.
