Coutts installs new Chelmsford chief for Essex push

by Drazen Jorgic on Sep 08, 2010 at 12:58

Private bank Coutts & Co has drafted in a new chief for the Chelmsford office in a bid to expand its Essex presence.

Stewart Sanderson has joined as a client partner and will spearhead Coutts' expansion in Essex. He was previously director of private clients at NatWest, which is also part of the RBS Group.

Sanderson will be joined by John Hughes, a private banker from Coutts' London office, in a bid to take greater share of the Essex wealth management market.

Sanderson said: 'We aim to continue our growth locally and I will announce a further appointment to cope with demand in the coming weeks.'
