Coutts has hired HSBC Private Bank north east head Robin Wright.
Wright, who joins Coutts immediately, will be responsible for developing new and existing business in Yorkshire in his new capacity, along with delivering financial advice to high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals. He will report to Coutts Yorkshire head Mark Yellops.
Wright has 12 years' experience, which includes as spell at Chase de Vere 12 before he joined HSBC Private Bank.
In a statement on his appointment Yellops said: 'Having just celebrated our 20th anniversary in Leeds, we are one of the longest standing wealth managers in the area and have grown from strength to strength, seeing a 25% increase in our client numbers in the last five years.'
'Hiring talented individuals highlights our commitment to maintaining exceptional wealth management and private banking.'

Very good I am sure but what happened to those individuals within the company who have been on the "Talent Grid" for the last 5 years or so. Looks like the talent grid has been shown the door - RBS at its best, spot the talent , fill in a few forms, then forget about it until its too late.
Presumably it is because no one within Coutts or adam & Co has enough talent to do the job.
