Deutsche's Edinburgh wealth management boss quits
Markets
by Danielle Levy on Sep 08, 2010 at 07:00
Richard Jacomb, who was formerly head of Deutsche Bank’s Shrewsbury office when it operated under the Tilney Investment Management banner was brought on board with him.
However, since then Deutsche Bank has beefed up its investment capabilities with the hire of Barclays Wealth’s global head of research and strategy Arnaud de Servigny as managing director.
Back in August, Citywire also broke the news that an operational review by Deutsche had resulted in 4,000 ‘low value’ accounts client accounts either being shut down or moved into a collectives-based service over the past year.
The accounts had been inherited from the bank's acquisition of Tilney Investment Management in late 2006.
Meanwhile, the firm has created a series of initiatives targeting the mass-affluent sector, with an entry level around £250,000, such as its Dynamic Portfolio Series.
