Ed Rosengarten to leave City Financial

City Financial’s head of UK asset management Ed Rosengarten is to leave the firm.

His responsibilities will be taken on by Andrew Williams.

Rosengarten confirmed he was leaving to pursue other opportunities. He said he had enjoyed his time at the company, having built the Eden Financial fund business up from scratch after joining in March 2011.

The firm's funds arm was sold to City Financial last October, with Rosengarten moving over as part of the deal. He went on to oversee the subsequent acquisition of OPM Fund Management.

He added he was ‘extremely proud’ of the business that has been established.
