by Danielle Levy on Dec 03, 2013 at 10:18
Daniel Lee, Cazenove Capital's former head of discretionary sales, is joining Allianz Global Investors.
Lee takes on the role of sales director with responsibility for key wholesale client relationships in London. He will report to Fraser Blain, head of UK retail sales at Allianz GI.
Lee left Cazenove shortly after its acquisition by Schroders earlier this year.
Commenting on the hire, Blain said: 'I am delighted that Daniel has joined the team and believe his breadth of experience and investment knowledge will help us fulfil our ambitious plans for growing our UK fund business.
'Dan has an excellent track record in raising assets in European equities, Smaller Companies and Fixed income, all of which are key areas of expertise at Allianz Global Investors.'
