ex-Invesco sales director Craig Newman joins Woodford venture

Craig Newman has been named head of retail asset management at Oakley Capital, the company partnering with Neil Woodford.

The two worked together at Invesco Perpetual for 12 years before Newman's departure last November.

Oakley recently announced that it will provide the 'infrastructure' for Woodford to set up his own boutique when he leaves Invesco Perpetual at the end of April 2014.
