by Elsa Buchanan on Mar 25, 2014 at 07:23
Prospect Wealth Management has appointed Tom Ball as head of business development.
He joins from Merrill Lynch Wealth Management, where he was most recently a high net worth adviser. Prior to that, he had a spell at UBS Wealth Management, and and brings a decade of private client experience.
In his new role, Ball will be responsible for working with Prospect’s existing introducers as well as forging new relationships with IFAs and professional intermediaries.
Matthew Hunt (pictured), principal of Prospect said in a statement: 'Tom has exactly the right background to promote Prospect’s unique wealth management proposition in the intermediary market place.'
Ball said: 'I am hugely excited about joining Prospect, a genuine boutique investment manager, and working alongside Matthew and the rest of the team to maintain the company’s rapid rate of growth.'
In an interview in February, Hunt told Wealth Manager the boutique had £150 million in assets under management for around 500 clients.
