Ex-Threadneedle man Fitzsimmons gets portfolio head role at RBS

by Eleanor Lawrie on Dec 16, 2013 at 10:54

Former Threadneedle manager Quentin Fitzsimmons has been made head of portfolio and investment management in the RBS Short Term Markets team.

Fitzsimmons was head of government bonds and foreign exchange at Threadneedle Investments and managed the Threadneedle Defensive Defensive Equity & Bond and Target Return Core and Target Return USD funds.

He left Threadneedle after nine years in July 2012 to take a career break and joined RBS in March this year, where he was recently appointed to his new role.
