Finch clinches Canaccord wealth head role in Guernsey
by Robert St George on Sep 12, 2013 at 07:24
Andy Finch has been named head of wealth management in Guernsey by Canaccord Genuity's wealth arm.
Finch (pictured) has been at Canaccord – known as Collins Stewart Wealth Management before a rebrand earlier this year – for over a decade. He was most recently head of sales.
In his new role Finch will run Canaccord’s front office in Guernsey, promoting the group’s wealth management business to both local and international clients.
Finch will also continue to head the offshore sales team at Canaccord and retain responsibility for the firm’s relationships with global strategic distribution partners.
‘It is a very exciting time in the evolution of our business and I am delighted to be offered the opportunity to return to Guernsey,’ Finch commented.
Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management has more than 12,000 clients, and in total manages approximately £10 billion of assets. Its appointment of Finch comes after Rothschild's Guernsey wealth business hired its former head Barrie Duerden.
