Former Invista man named property head at Deutsche asset & wealth arm

Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management has appointed a head of real estate asset management.
Hugo Vere joins the team as an investment director, reporting to head of UK James Petit. In his new capacity he will be tasked with growing Deutsche's real estate investment offering in the UK.
Vere, an Associate member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, has more than17 years' investment management experience.
He has held a number of roles, including establishing and leading Invista Real Estate's Asian fund management business based in Hong Kong.
During the last year Vere has been a consultant to Guidance Investments, a Malaysian business that provides Sharia compliant investment products, advising on structuring, strategy and execution for an international real estate joint-venture.
