by Dylan Lobo on Feb 26, 2014 at 15:50
Neil Woodford's new investment firm has recruited former Telegraph journalist Paul Farrow as a head of corporate communications.
Farrow joins Oakley Capital Management on 1 May from Coutts, where he served as editor, corporate communications.
Prior to this he was personal finance editor at the Telegraph Media Group.
The news comes after Wealth Manager revealed details of Woodford's (pictured) fund plans when he leaves Invesco Perpetual in April.
Commenting on the hire, Oakley Capital head of retail management Craig Newman said: 'Paul's appointment is a key part of our aim to deliver open, transparent, engaging and insightful communications to clients and investors.
'He has the credentials we were looking for - a strong editorial background, a depth of investment management knowledge and proven experience of our industry.'
