Friends Life appoints UK chief exec
Markets
by Jun Merrett on Nov 13, 2012 at 10:04
Friends Life has appointed David Hynam as its UK chief executive.
Hynam (pictured) was previously chief operating officer at the company.
His promotion will mean he is now responsible for Friends Life's 'Go To Market' businesses in the UK and will report directly to group chief executive Andy Briggs.
Another move at Friends Life's UK board includes the departure of corporate affairs and brand director Peter Foster at the end of the year.
Foster, who had been at the company since 2010, having formerly been at Towry, was hired on an interim basis and has decided to leave to set up a watch business.
