Fund of the Week: Artemis Income

A investment that continually impresses me in equity income is the Artemis Income fund run by Adrian Frost & Adrian Gosden.

It leans towards the defensive side, but not enough to rule it completely out of market rallies. It always has a healthy bias towards international companies, which helps it stay competitive during those rallies and add some much needed diversity to the UK sector.

Performance has been good for many years, consistently among the top in the sector over the long-term and it also provides an enticing yield of around 5%.

I’m not the only one to be impressed with this fund as the £4billion in assets shows, but that shouldn’t alarm as there are other much larger funds that have been able to consistently deliver in the highly liquid markets it operates in.

One to pick for long term investment that delivers a steady yield and a little peace of mind.
