As a managing director and portfolio manager at BlackRock, James Bristow is head of the Global Equity team and responsible for the firm’s Global Focus, Global Core and International strategies. Prior to joining BlackRock in 2006, Bristow joined JP Morgan in 1998 as a portfolio manager. He was responsible for managing global and European equity portfolios. He began his career with ABN AMRO Rothschild on their equity capital markets team. Bristow earned an MA degree in philosophy, politics and economics from Oxford University in 1997.
