Objective

The Fund aims to achieve a total investment return from income and capital appreciation. The Fund primarily invests in debt securities issued or guaranteed by governments, financial institutions or companies in Emerging Market Countries. The Fund will invest at least 80 per cent of its net assets in debt securities issued or guaranteed by governments of Emerging Market Countries or their agencies, and by companies established or having significant operations in Emerging Market Countries. The Fund may also invest up to 20 per cent of its net assets in debt securities of companies which are not established in Emerging Market Countries but which may conduct a portion of their business operations in Emerging Market Countries.
