Stephen Adams was born in 1962 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He attended the University of Edinburgh and went on to gain a degree in Law. In 1987, he worked as an investment manager at Abbey National Asset Managers and was responsible for institutional fund and UK unit trusts. In 2000, he joined AEGON (now Kames Capital) and currently manages the Kames UK Equity Fund. Stephen is a member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals and is a qualified solicitor. Stephen enjoys soccer and rugby as means to relax when he is not working.
