Philip Cliff was born in 1974 in South Africa. He graduated from Loughborough University with a BSc in Economics in 1996. He joined Skandia Investment Management in 1999 as an Investment Consultant specialising in European Equities and Global Bonds. In 2001, he joined the European Equity team at Threadneedle Investments. Cliff began managing the Allied Dunbar International Europe Fund in 2003, and ran the Threadneedle European Select Growth Fund until September 2007. He then joined Occam in 2007 before moving to M&G. He is an associate member of the UK Society of Investment Professionals. His interests outside of fund management include golf and tennis.

Objective

The Fund invests mainly in a range of UK equities with the aim of achieving a steadily increasing income stream. The Fund will target a yield higher than that of the FTSE All-Share Index. Subject to this, the aim will be to maximise total return (the combination of income and growth of capital).
