Simon Webber joined Schroders in 1999 as a research analyst on the global technology team. In 2001 he became a US equity fund manager, specialising in technology and industrials. In 2002 he assumed analytical responsibilities for US telecoms, media & software sectors. Simon joined Schroders' gobal and international equities team in 2004, specialising in the consumer discretionary and telecom services sectors. In 2006, along with Matthew Franklin, he developed the Schroder Global Climate Change Equity Strategy, putting together a team and process to analyse global equity opportunities in the area. Prior to working at schroders Simon studied physics at Manchester University, and is also a CFA Charterholder. In his spare time Simon likes to unwind by playing a few rounds of golf.

Objective

To provide capital growth primarily through investment in equities and securities of worldwide issuers which will benefit from efforts to accommodate or limit the impact of global climate change. Investment will be primarily in directly held transferable securities. The Fund may also invest in collective investment schemes, cash, deposits, derivatives, warrants and money market instruments.
