Hargreaves Lansdown's Vantage director sells £125k shares in firm
by James Phillipps on Dec 11, 2013 at 07:30
Nick Marson, the director of Hargreaves Lansdown's Vantage platform, has netted over £125,000 after selling down part of his stake in the firm.
In an announcement to the stock market, Hargreaves said that the shares of a connected person to Marson, his wife, had been sold at a price of £12.52 per share.
Following the transaction Marson and his connected persons hold 619,821 shares in the firm, representing 0.13% of the shares in issue.
The move follows Hargreaves chief executive Ian Gorham's decision to exercise £8.4 million of options in the firm last month, although Gorham actually upped his stake in the business at the same time. In October head of research Mark Dampier made £620,000 offloading shares.
Since flotation in May 2007, shares in Hargreaves, which was founded by Peter Hargreaves and Stephen Lansdown (pictured), have risen by 482%, hitting a high of £12.72 a share earlier this year.
