Impax hires ex-DWS Investments sales head for discretionary push
by Dylan Lobo on Feb 07, 2013 at 13:25
Former DWS Investments sales head Stephen Moore has joined Impax Asset Management to spearhead its designs on the discretionary market.
Moore (pictured) becomes head of wholesale at Impax with responsibility for generating business from family offices, distributors and discretionary wealth managers. He will report to the firm's head of distribution Ominder Dhillon.
Moore left DWS in 2010. Prior to this he was head of UK sales at Julius Baer and also held similar roles at Threadneedle Investments, Orbitex Investment Management and Old Mutual International.
Commenting on the appointment Dhillon said: 'Stephen brings a partnership approach to working with distributors and family offices and has covered a range of asset classes, including agribusiness, hydropower and forestry funds, that will help us to grow our footprint with this important group of investors.'
Moore added: 'I am sure that Impax’s funds will attract growing interest from the European wholesale market as investors are becoming increasingly interested in diversification and more aware of the compelling investment drivers behind the global resource efficiency and environmental markets.'
