Invesco's global equity product guru Hamilton exits
by James Phillipps on Aug 09, 2013 at 13:25
Invesco Perpetual’s global head of equity products Nick Hamilton has left the firm to return to Australia.
Hamilton, who reported into chief investment officer Nick Mustoe, had been at the Henley-based asset manager for 10 years, having earlier been product director for UK equities.
His responsibilities will be assumed by Mustoe (pictured) and other members of the global equities team.
Hamilton had previous stints at Rothschild Australia Asset Management and Thomson Reuters, before he moved to Invesco Perpetual in 2003.
He has now taken the role of head of business development at Colonial First State in Sydney, Australia, after departing Invesco Perpetual in April.
Invesco Perpetual said in a statement: 'Global equities is a core priority for the business and we have a compelling proposition and a strong investment team to take our products forward. Nick and his family have returned to Australia and we wish them the very best for their future.'
