Investec W&I hires Architas’ bond strategist Kendall

Investec Wealth and Investment has appointed Dawn Kendall as senior bond strategist, to boost the firm’s fixed income business.

Kendall will report to Darren Ruane, head of fixed interest, and help to develop the bond collectives process, grow portfolio mandates and work with more than 270 investment managers on their fixed income exposure.

She previously worked at Axa’s multi-manager arm Architas , where for the past five years she focused on fixed income and alternatives management for its UK retail and ultra-high net worth business.

Prior to this, she worked at a range of firms including Newton Investment Management, Codelouf Trust, and SG Warburg.

Investec Wealth and Investment has around 950 staff located at its 15 offices across the UK and approximately £20.1 billion of clients funds under management, following the integration of Williams de Broe.
