The technology sector has shown signs of revitalisation after a difficult few years, with all three posting mid-teen rallies in share prices over one month.
On a sixth-month view, all three trusts have seen strong performance, with Polar Capital Technology leading the way with a 29% increase in its share price performance.
Nevertheless, on a longer-term basis, the sector has had a far more challenging time, with only Polar posting positive returns on a five-year basis with a 5% increase.
Herald, with its bias towards smaller companies, has endured a 34% fall over the same period, and RCM Technology a fall of 9% over five years.
