James Brearley restructures board as head of finance retires
by Elsa Buchanan on Jun 06, 2014 at 10:27
James Brearley has restructured its board following the retirement of head of finance Louis Harold Dial.
Three senior managers, Darren Hardy-Dearness, Richard Dunsby and Simon Trippier, have become associate directors of the firm.
Along with existing directors David Hannis, Brian Butler and Nigel Corrie, they will form an executive management committee that has day-to-day responsibility for the running of the firm.
‘The decision by Hal [Louis Harold Dial] to retire from the executive board of James Brearley & Sons afforded the board an opportunity to consider its structure,’ Corrie told Wealth Manager.
‘The creation of this group will greatly assist the executive directors; David, Brian and myself to further deploy the strategy of the board and enhance the growth of the business.’
Dial will remain at the firm in a non-executive director role. In March, non-executive director and former partner Mike Barnett retired after more than 30 years.
