Wealth manager jonathanfry is expanding its proposition with the launch of a tactical advisory service.
The service will offer clients access to an execution-only platform, which can trade a range of instruments including shares, funds, ETFs, structured products, contracts for difference, currencies, gilts and bonds on an execution-only basis, and can also seek advice on a transactional basis.
The group’s private wealth director, Jonathan Fry (pictured), explained: ‘Everything is happening in the circle of the relationship. Some of our competitors are offering this but in separate silos.’
The firm charges £12.95 for online execution-only deals, which goes down to £6.95 for 25 deals or above per month alongside a £120 administration fee per year.
For clients seeking advice on a transactional basis, jonathanfry charges 0.5% on the purchase or sale of an individual investment, subject to a minimum fee of £250.
Tactical advisory will sit alongside its discretionary management, dynamic cash management and financial planning services and can also integrate with the firm’s internal system OmniView, which provides a consolidated view of assets held by the firm and external managers.
‘High net worth clients want to have this range of interaction and we want to be partners with our clients,’ Fry added. ‘What we are trying to do is to come up with a new blueprint for wealth management.’
In March, the firm opted to roll out its Dynamic Cash Management service to other wealth management and adviser firms, which is available for a minimum balance of £100,000 with a fee of 0.3% per annum.
