JPM names Anderson replacement on Sterling Corporate Bond fund

JP Morgan Asset Management has appointed Andreas Michalitsianos as lead manager on its JPM Sterling Corporate Bond fund .
He replaces former Citywire AA-rated manager John Anderson, who Wealth Manager revealed faces an uncertain future following a review of the fund. It is understood that Anderson will be leaving the firm.
Michalitsianos, who has been at the company since 2002, has experience in both macro and corporate strategies and has managed portfolios worth around $10 billion during his career.
In his new capacity he will be responsible for managing sterling corporate exposure across the firm's global fixed income client portfolios, reporting to head of investment grade credit Lisa Coleman.
He will have access to a global team which contains six portfolio managers, 11 specialist credit analysts and two dedicated traders.
'Andreas is a highly skilled investor with a thorough knowledge of UK corporate credit, who will be leveraging a diligent investment process,' Coleman said in a statement
