JPM Private Bank names new UK head
by Robert St George on Dec 06, 2013 at 13:51
Faraj Saghri has been appointed as head of JP Morgan Private Bank for the UK.
Saghri was global coordinator for the private bank’s financial sponsor group, which he founded and which advises private equity firms, and will retain that responsibility. He will also act as the bank’s head for the Nordic region.
He replaces former Wealth Manager cover star Olivier de Givenchy (pictured), who becomes the region's US West region head where he will oversee the business in Arizona, California, Colorado and Washington.
Pablo Garnica, chief executive of JP Morgan Private Bank for Europe, the Middle East and Africa – to whom Saghri will report – said that Saghri’s ‘success in managing the business and experience working with extremely sophisticated clients make him the ideal choice to head up our team in the UK and continue to deliver an exceptional service to our international client base’.
