by Robert St George on Feb 25, 2014 at 13:21
The fund’s management fee is presently 1% of total assets less current liabilities, but from 1 July 2014 this will be cut to 0.75% on assets above the £800 million level. The trust is currently £734 million in size.
Forey (pictured) also manages the £1.1 billion open-ended Citywire Selection JPM Emerging Markets fund, which has a standard annual management charge of 1.5% but is also available at a discounted 0.6% rate through certain platforms.
Over the past three years the unit trust has lost 13.5% while the investment trust is down by 5.9% on a net asset value basis. The MSCI Emerging Markets index has declined by 12% through the same period.
