Kleinwort Benson poaches UBS man to co-head Private Office

Kleinwort Benson has boosted its Private Investment Office with the hire of Claude Cochin de Billy as co-head and managing director of its private investment office.
Cochin de Billy joins from UBS Wealth Management, where he was a senior banker in the global family office group. He will be co-head of the Private Investment Office alongside Paul Kearney, managing director of Kleinwort Benson.The Private Investment Office provides tailored investment, corporate advisory, reporting and corporate governance services to family offices seeking to improve performance and efficiency.
Cochin de Billy will be based in London and will join the bank's executive committee. He will focus on building the business in Continental Europe and expanding the corporate advisory services
to our clients.

Prior to UBS, Cochin de Billy was at Deutsche Private Bank as head of private wealth management in London. His hire follows those of Joakim Gasslander, as senior private banker, Gemma Woodward as head of charities and Fadi Zaher, head of bonds and currencies.
