Kleinwort Benson has appointed Nick Bennett as head of private wealth management (PWM) in Guernsey.
Bennett, who has more than 20 years' experience, joins from Schroders Private Banking and will report to the firm's head of PWM, Offshore Clive Wright.
He will also work closely with Valentina Tacchio, head of PWM International, to support the needs of high net worth individuals, intermediaries and corporate clients.
Bennett spent 13 years at Schroders, most recently as an executive director and head of credit and banking in the Channel Islands.
Commenting on the appointment, Wright said in a statement: 'We celebrate our 50th year in Guernsey in 2013 and I am delighted that Nick will be joining us as we continue to strengthen our offering to offshore clients and drive the growth of our international business.'
